I am a creative, strategic leader with a reputation as an inspirational and skilled facilitator: I focus on women’s leadership in education and equity, diversity and inclusion.
These global issues in education need addressing to ensure organisations are equitable, ethical employers. I am a Co-founder and a global strategic leader of WomenEd, a grass roots, voluntary organisation that seeks to empower and connect existing and aspiring women leaders in education. With Keziah Featherstone, I am the co-editor of 10%braver: Inspiring Women to Lead Education (2019), and Being10%Braver (2021) published by Sage.
I offer keynotes, workshops and sustained leadership development. I also work with male leaders to help them to be allies for women and underrepresented groups. A former headteacher, as a Leadership consultant I also support education leaders with professional learning and development, impact evaluation, vision and strategy.
